i dont want the site i got my layout from top show up on my myspace profile

Just look for the start of a <"a href
tag and remove it from start to end.

Thats ALWAYS the link back to the site.

go thru the html code and remove their name, BUT sometimes the code wont work at all if you do that.

try to find something in the code that says...
<a href="www.site where u got ur layout is displayed here.com"><img src="img dat is displayed on top of profile is here"></a>
delete this code

look for the site in the code for example if you got it from tennaylayouts you would take out all the tennaylayouts.com
