Default does windows keep track of time when a hardware is attached?

does windows store the time at which any device (like audio jack/headset/mouse) is attached (or detached)? does it keep track of it and stores ?
if yes, plz. tell where?
i want to know that if someone steals a mouse etc. from the comp room , then will i be able to track him by looking at the time when it was detached. the person who had the keys of comp at that time may have stolen it.

No, it doesnt. But why would you want to know that? Rephrase the question and maybe we can help you in another way.

Sorry witty, there's no such thing. That mouse is gone and the criminal scot free

As far as I know, no. I am pretty knowledgeable but I certainly don't know everything. I know that things like audio jacks it doesn't, or even mice that aren't USB. It could, potentially, keep track of anything USB or Firewire but as far as I know it doesn't.
