What can i wear with a black n red checked hat?

I have an idea but not that sure of colours n styles it's to go on a night out and with black tights i was thinking a black skirt but not sure what style or coulr top or stylle to with it all ideas will be appreaciated! Thank you xx

red tee shirt (short sleeves) and a black skirt or black pants. pair with black and red accesories
