Can you deliver at a hospital different than your doctor's affiliated hospital?

I have a great OB/GYN and would like to deliver somewhere other than his "affiliated" hospital. I would prefer a different hospital.
I am diabetic and will be a high-risk pregnancy. I would feel more comfortable with a doctor that is familiar with my health and situation.

You can deliver the baby at whatever hospital you want to, but your doctor can only attend the delivery at a hospital in which he is affiliated.
